Overview
Stay AI is a Shopify-native subscription management platform with built-in churn risk scoring. Connect it to Hazel to track your subscription health — active subscribers, who’s at risk of churning, dunning state, and the products driving recurring revenue.What Hazel pulls
Once you connect Stay AI, Hazel has access to:- Subscriptions — every subscription with status, billing cadence, pricing, and lifecycle events (active, paused, cancelled)
- Subscription items — the products and variants on each subscription, including quantity, SKU, and one-time add-ons
- Recurring orders — orders generated by subscription contracts and their line items
- Churn risk — Stay AI’s churn risk score (0-1) and risk bucket for each active subscription
- Dunning state — when a subscription enters and exits the billing-retry cycle
- Cancellation reasons — the reason captured at cancellation time
- Selling plan groups — standard, prepaid, and calendar-prepaid plan configuration
How to connect
Find Stay AI in the Hazel marketplace and click the + button. You’ll need to paste your Stay AI access token. What you’ll need: Your Stay AI access token, found in your Stay AI dashboard.Example questions you can ask

Good to know
- Churn risk scoring is one of the most useful parts of this integration — Stay AI assigns each subscription a 0-1 score plus a risk bucket so you can prioritize retention outreach.
- Dunning tracking lets you see exactly when subscriptions enter the billing-retry cycle and whether they recovered or churned.
- For revenue analysis, pair Stay AI with Shopify — subscription orders flow through Shopify as fulfillable orders, and Shopify is the definitive revenue record.
- Stay AI is a competitor to Recharge and Skio; brands typically run on only one. If you’re migrating between platforms, both sources can coexist in Hazel during the transition.
