Overview

Skio is a modern subscription management platform for Shopify brands. Connect it to Hazel to track your subscription health — active subscribers, cancellation trends, and detailed insights from Skio’s cancel flow.

What Hazel pulls

Once you connect Skio, Hazel has access to:
  • Subscriptions — every subscription with status, cadence, and line items
  • Orders — subscription-generated orders and their details
  • Cancel flow sessions — when a subscriber starts the cancellation process, including whether they completed it or were retained
  • Cancellation reasons — documented reasons from Skio’s cancel flow

How to connect

Find Skio in the Hazel marketplace and click the + button. You’ll need to paste your Skio API key. What you’ll need: Your Skio API key, found in your Skio account settings.

Example questions you can ask

Once your Skio data is connected, try questions like these:
  • “How many active subscriptions do we have?”
  • “What’s our subscription churn rate?”
  • “What are the top cancellation reasons from our cancel flow?”
  • “How many subscribers started the cancel flow but were retained?”
  • “Show me subscription revenue trend over the last quarter”
  • “Which subscription products have the best retention?”

Good to know

  • Cancel flow insights are one of the most valuable parts of this integration — you can see exactly why people leave and how effective your retention offers are.
  • Cancel flow data is only available when subscribers go through Skio’s cancel process (direct cancellations may not capture a reason).
  • Pair with Shopify to see the full picture of subscription vs. one-time purchase revenue.
  • Your data refreshes automatically.
