Spot suspicious purchasing behavior

“Flag any concerning purchasing behavior in our order history — look for patterns like multiple accounts at the same address, unusually high gift card purchases, bulk orders from corporate email domains, or significant discounts that seem abnormal.”
“Are there any customers or addresses that appear across multiple accounts? Show me clusters of orders that might indicate resellers or fraud.”
“Which orders were placed with deep discounts that look like they could be abuse? Show me anything where the discount was 90% or more.”

Chargeback analysis

“Analyze our chargebacks from the last 3 months. What percentage of customers who filed chargebacks had previously contacted support?”
“Break down chargebacks by week for the last 4 months. Are they trending up or down? Flag any spikes.”
“What products have the highest chargeback rate relative to their sales volume?”
“Do chargebacks increase as support conversations get longer? At what point do they spike?”

Reseller identification

“Are there any customers making repeated high-volume purchases that could indicate reselling? Look for patterns like multiple orders to the same address, bulk quantities, or corporate shipping addresses.”
“Show me customers with the highest order frequency in the last 90 days. Flag anyone with behavior that looks like wholesale purchasing on our consumer store.”

Proactive monitoring

“What does our fraud exposure look like right now? Summarize orders flagged as high risk, recent chargebacks, and any patterns in refunds that could indicate fraud.”
Tailor your prompt to your specific concerns. The more context you give Hazel about what you’re worried about — resellers, coupon abuse, stolen credit cards — the better it can target its analysis. Use Memory to teach Hazel your fraud definitions and thresholds.
